Having co‐operation between film production companies across the borders in the Arctic North as one of our main objectives, Pomor Film act as a professional link between film production companies in Sweden, Finland, Russia and Norway, dealing mostly with feature film projects and creative documentaries.

We are focused in finding strong stories from the vast areas at the very top of the Scandinavian Peninsula, but also curious and dedicated towards new co‐productions from other parts of the globe, coming our way. Every project is a challenge and we seek solutions!

Also, to facilitate international film companies for co-productions, we are offering unique locations and a regional network of services to increase production value in the Arctic region.

As part of a film community; The Film yard in Tromsø, Pomor Film also offer services within commercials and industry film. Tromsø is the largest city in North Norway – the gateway to the Arctic ocean, about 500 km north of the arctic circle, and is known for its breathtaking surroundings and, among other attractions, the Northern light – Aurora Borealis.
