The hard rocking, soulful straight swinging trio that became the band Jackie Moonshine, got together under arbitrary circumstances beneath the arctic midnight sun of Tromsø the summer of 2006. The decision was soon made to pursue their common musical interests, forming a band that would sound as great as the eminent rock gods that had inspired them. What would come out of the following process was intense rehearsals and spending most of their time away from the public the next two years, as the members finely tuned what the band would later define as; psychedelic power blues.
