BandaCUITO was formed in April 2012, in the city of Tromso – Norway.

The music is based on the traditional Mapuche music, with inspiration and fusion of modern rhythms and harmonies, which have met together especially within the latin, rock and jazz genres. Cuito was Carlos’ childhood nickname which is where you’ve got the connection to the band name.
